Weatherford facility celebrated during Manufacturing Month
October 2nd was National Manufacturing Day in the United States. Oklahoma is celebrating manufacturing and the positive impact it has on the state throughout the month of October, with representatives from the Governor’s office visiting facilities across the state.
Last week, five delegates visited our KODAK FLEXCEL NX plate and film manufacturing facility in Weatherford where our team gave them a detailed overview on the history of Miraclon and our role as a leading flexo technology provider to the package printing industry, followed by a tour of the new plate manufacturing line.
Brent Kisling, Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce commented: “I am excited to be in Weatherford and see what Miraclon is doing. It is great to see such an innovative company that is continuing to grow in our state.”
Harold Wright, Oklahoma State Representative added: “It is an outstanding facility and I’m proud that it is part of Western Oklahoma. I’ve been part of this development over the past few years and worked closely with some of the key Miraclon personnel who are also present here today. They are the ones that made it all happen. It’s great to know the Miraclon will continue to be here for a long time to come.”
