Miraclon to showcase award-winning FLEXCEL Prime Plates and FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution to Flexo & Labels Expo 2026

18/05/26

Miraclon has announced its plans for Flexo & Labels Expo 2026, reinforcing its commitment to supporting converters, trade shops and printers in the Brazilian flexographic printing market and across Latin America.

Taking place May 26 – 29 in Pavilion 5 of the Anhembi District in São Paulo, Brazil, the event will provide an opportunity for visitors to connect with Miraclon and learn more about the latest innovations in FLEXCEL NX Technology. These include the award-winning FLEXCEL Prime Plate and FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution, designed to improve consistency, efficiency and predictability in modern flexo production.

The FLEXCEL Prime Plate is the next-generation plate technology from Miraclon, designed to retain the industry-leading characteristics of FLEXCEL NX Plates while introducing new performance-driven features that help printers reduce press stops, improve plate reuse and increase overall press uptime.

Engineered for straightforward integration, the FLEXCEL Prime Plate features Seamless Fit Printing, enabling printers to introduce FLEXCEL Prime plates into legacy FLEXCEL NXH plate jobs without reprofiling, curve changes or workflow modifications. This helps customers gain new performance advantages while continuing to operate within their established FLEXCEL NX print conditions.

The plate’s Lift Resist Formulation improves plate drape and surface consistency, easing mounting and remounting with reduced plate curl, supporting better plate reuse and contributing to wider press latitude. The plate’s optimized chemical structure requires lower impression and maintains consistent performance over time, helping reduce waste and improve overall equipment effectiveness.

The plate also features enhanced Stay Clean Properties, with reformulated plate surface characteristics that further resist ink build-up and drying during press runs. In combination with multi-form plate surface patterning from Miraclon, including PureFlexo™ Printing, this helps keep plates cleaner for longer periods, resulting in fewer press stops and easier cleaning between jobs. The outcome is more uptime, less waste and improved productivity.

Visitors can also learn more about the FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution, which brings the proven consistency and print performance of FLEXCEL NX Technology in a solvent-free, VOC-free plate processing environment. Using water-based processing, FLEXCEL NX Ultra Plates can be imaged, processed and ready for press in less than an hour, helping trade shops and converters reduce platemaking.

Thanks to Ultra Clean Technology, the FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution helps address the residue and debris challenges traditionally associated with water-based plate processing, supporting cleaner operation, better consistency and high-quality print performance.

“Brazil is an important flexo market for Miraclon, with brands, converters and trade shops continually pushing for higher quality, greater efficiency and more consistent production,” said Armando Rodriguez, Commercial Director for Latin America, Miraclon. “Flexo & Labels Expo gives us an opportunity to demonstrate how Miraclon continues to support the advancement of modern flexo across Brazil and Latin America by combining technology innovation with flexo application expertise. With the FLEXCEL Prime Plate and FLEXCEL NX Ultra Solution, we’re helping customers address everyday production challenges while building more efficient, consistent and sustainable print operations.”
